Add to myYahoo!Posted By Gerald PuglieseFrom Disease-ProofNew research claims not enough milk, exercise, and sunshine is causing rickets in some children. Lauran Neegaard of the Associated Press reports:It’s not just that they don’t drink fortified milk. Bodies make vitamin D with sunlight. With teen computer use, urban youngsters without safe places to play outdoors and less [...] Tags: Disease Proof

Add to myYahoo!Posted By Gerald PuglieseFrom Disease-ProofI don’t subscribe to "carbophobia", but, refined grains, rice, and cereals are bad news. Here’s a brief lowdown from Dr. Fuhrman. Take a look:White pasta, white rice and white bread are just like sugar; because their fiber has been removed, these nutrient deficient foods are absorbed too rapidly. This, in [...] Tags: Disease Proof

Add to myYahoo!Ok so this is going to embarrass me more than anyone else....I have been running on the treadmill a lot longer than I have before, and for almost 3 weeks now have had almost like a rash on my arm pits. Looks worse than it feels. It is itchy sometimes, which sucks. Anyone else gotten this before? I have been wearing a t-shirt to the gym but I don't know why it won't go away.

Add to myYahoo!I started posting and didn't even introduce myself.I'm Alex. 25 years-old, Mississippi resident, mother of one, and currently on Weight Watchers. I signed up because I know my friends and family, while supportive, are getting REALLY bored of me constantly talking about diet and health stuff. And I have to admit, I'm really psyched lately because I believe I've had my epiphany, my "Aha!" moment, and suddenly my weight loss and lifestyle change has fallen effortlessly into place. I know it will get harder the more I lose, but for now, I've got a lot of energy and excitement and feel like tossing heaping bucketfuls of it onto others. So, hi!

Add to myYahoo! My names Phil and im 17 and since i got into computer gaming 2-3 years ago i have ditched all sports and going out (mostly cause i live in the middle of nowhere and the computer seems the easy solution)I am about 5ft 9weigh about 12 and a half stone (i dont look fat, and my friends always think the normal weight but untill they see my stomach... :eek:im not a very confident person, find it hard to talk to girls and such and blush easily which leads to me getting hot and sweating (which makes me itch which affects my exercise alot) and i dont get bulliedI wake up at 7am and catch my bus to school at 7:40am and get into school at 8:40am i usually skip my breakfast only having a piece of toast and a cup o tea,i eat mostly eat for lunch (microwaved burgers, chips and any other convenient food i can get sometimes i eat sandwiches depending on how easy the food is to get.I leave school on the bus at 3:20pm and get home at 4:30pm through out the journey i feel tired and lazy.I get home and i play my 360 or Pc when ever i can get on it...Im not proud of what i do day in day out and i know if i carry on like this i will do harm to my body. What i want to ask is what will happen if i carry on like this and could lack of exercise be affecting my appearance (i have baggy eyes) or my body? (i have body acke and i suffer from really bad itching when ever i sweat, going to see a specialist on the 15th December about it though, i feel like i have a lack of drive and sometimes feel depressed, thats basically my daily routine and nothing much different on the weekendwould really appreciate some feedback and some adviseThanks, Phil
